Mr. La Marca began his film career at the Roger Corman school of filmmaking, Alma mater of some of America’s great moviemakers, among them Francis Ford Coppola and Martin Scorsese.

 

Mr. La Marca had come to Hollywood at the behest of director James Bridges to begin his film education studies at the more orthodox film school, the American Film Institute, where he worked on several AFI Films.

 

Shortly thereafter, he joined the full-time staff of Ken Kragen & Associates as the company’s in-house Co-Producer on productions ranging from television movies Kenny Rogers’ “The Gambler” and “Coward of the County” to HBO and Showtime live concert specials Featuring Kenny Rogers, Kim Carnes and top comedian Gallagher.

 

From 1982-1985, Mr. La Marca served as a Production Supervisor, then Production Manager.

 

In 1986 Mr. La Marca produced his first feature film, the critically and commercially successful thriller, “Lady in White” starring Lukas Haas,  Katherine Helmond, Alex Rocco and Len Cariou.  The film has become a classic and is highly respected for having been produced on a modest budget.

 

Since then, Mr. La Marca continues to work as an Executive Producer, Producer, Line Producer, Co-Producer and Production Manager including:
